BACKGROUND

Tim Kay Band

For those who don't know me, basically, whilst working as a waiter to subsidise my none-too-profitable music career, I had the fortune to work for Jamie Oliver (pukka bloke, by the way!). One thing led to another and I happened upon writing the song 'My World', which ended up being the theme tune to Jamie's 'At Home' television series. That song, which has now been heard all around the world, got me signed to Warners, and I released my first album in 2009 (available on iTunes & Spotify).

Since then I've been around the block a few times, working many different jobs, performing in a variety of bands, and was even seen as one of the judges on BBC One's Saturday night prime time show 'All Together Now'.

If you like the music, or even just my face, then I hope you'll check out my new EPs and also consider booking me and my mates to play for you (see 'Bookings' page for more details).

Influences: Jeff Buckley, Muse, Coldplay, Linkin Park, Green Day, Snow Patrol, Radiohead, The Killers, Tom McRae, Damien Rice.
